I honestly don't know what to expect from e3.

Bethesda Conference:

-DOOM Reboot/Remake announced
-BATTLECRY global BETA(Looks like a TF2 clone)
-Dishonored 2 announced
-Dishonored getting all DLC and enhanced edition
-Elder Scrolls Online game coming to consoles

and Fallout 4 DEMO.
-VATS is back and it's very smooth, still has the 3rd/1st person view.
-They made the pip-boy more lively.
-A real Pip-Boy, with the collector's edition. Of course it's for you phone, and they -also have a app, which still works without the pip-boy holster.
-You can build you own place, that's just a small piece of the game. People can move in to your area and expand.
-50 base weapons, 700 mods for them. CUSTOM WEAPONS.
-You can also modify your Power Armor.
-Helicopters, you can use them.
-You can hover down buildings, while wearing Power Armor. Hover jets?
-Coming Out November 10, 2015.

-Fallout: Shelter for mobile (iOS, android coming later?) FREE, no internet connection required.

Fuck yer Fallout bullhonkey, Doom already looks like it's going to be one of the best fucking games ever.

Watched the Doom segment from the Bethesda show which was the only thing that sounded interesting.

Personally, wasn't really that impressed. I dunno, I never played a Doom game, I always thought it was paced with it's monsters and supposed to be scary? And not a mindless killing simulator like Gears of War.
I liked the part when hologram monster though.
Multiplayer reminds me of Halo for some reason and that was before the map creator was announced.
I think the map creator thingy is neat, but I'm not creative enough to make such things.
The graphics look nice, but is it reeeeeaaaally going to look like that in the end?


Dishonored: Definitive Edition
Oh come the fuck on. Don't get me wrong, it was a good game, but not needed to pull this.

Having played original Doom, it's plainly clear it's an action game throughout. Doom 3 added horror elements, and that was mainly through jump scares.

Okay. What's the catch? My radar is going off on this one.

Beyond Eyes was like the only indie game that showed gameplay I believe, so it caught my attention out of them all. It looks "pretty".

But I'm not fond of game segments where I'm in emptiness and there's a little speckle of area far distance, and I have to get closer to reveal the entire area. For the life of me, I cannot think of a game right now that does this, but it just puts me unease and the thought that the whole game is like this?
While the rest of the indie games shown was just video. I won't mention Cuphead because we saw it already last year. And I'm surprised that game isn't already out yet.

I don't understand this EA subscription mess, so it's pay money to play demos? Wow....I remember when this was a highlight for being a Xbox Live Gold member, lolz. *looks at X360 demo library collecting dust*

Gears of War 1 remaster was officially announced and I don't care....

Gears of War 4 was announced with gameplay shown. Two new stars, and a new monster revealed. Looks good of course. The old weapon switching mechanic return after the outcry of Gears of War Judgment.

Finally got some gameplay, I'm sure a lot of people will give the demo shit mainly for the unfinished creature model. It didn't really show much, but I liked what I saw.

The part when the "bridge" was collapsing, the evil little shit in me was like "lol he's gonna die". And when the player jumped and the creature missed grabbing them with its mouth, I laughed out loud. Thinking it was a live demonstration and the player failed. But then the player grabbed the tail and I was like.
The only downside for me is that everything seemed slow to register the creature to do stuff.

Horizon: Zero Dawn
"So instead of dinosaurs, let's make them ROBOT dinosaurs!".
The struggle for orginality is real with this concept.
Don't get me wrong, I get it...but...really? A new fresh game and it's this? Better off remaking TUROK.

And the protagonist talks/reacts too much for my taste. I get what the Dev's were trying to do. They're trying to make the character's feeling and reaction correspond with what the player should be feeling during the event. But it's doing nothing but ruining my vibe. I feel like this idea is catering to people that after beating a boss, they will fist pump in victory and shout "Yessss". I am not that type of player.
