what is pissing me off at the moment is it sounds what i want it to be on my head phones, but then i play it on my speakers it its really fucky.

Reminds me of the problem I had whenever I would bring my files over to my friend's computer so our group can listen, which is hooked to some sort of audio device so that you can plug a mic or a guitar into it. It did nothing but shit on the quality of my tracks, the pitches were off and plugins were muffling over other plugins. It also didn't help how the settings of the audio of his surround sound was (very bassy).
In order for me to have them listen to my music in how it was supposed to sound, I had to upload my music to my Soundcloud and play it from the web browser or play it straight from a mp3, and surprise surprise, it sounds close enough to how it should (again, the surround sound factor). The way it was set up over at his place, in order for FL Studios audio to work with that device, we had to turn it on, and switch the surround sound to the assign channel. In order for the rest of the PC audio to work, you had to cut that equipment off and switch the surround sound to the assign channel. Maybe this info could help you. I dunno.
