I've only watched the first 3 episodes.
It only started getting significantly interesting at the third episode, I think the show mainly had a very weak start. I loved the montage of him nailing cases and getting by with the scrap checks he gets, and I especially loved him investigating the daughter's room and figuring out what happened to that family by himself. It was like something out of Phoenix Wright, which is awesome.
Season 1 is on Netflix, so I gotta get on that shit.

I love it because I can relate to that he is trying to do the right thing, busting his ass so hard but still doesn't get a win from it.

Watched the first episode, it's interesting. Also my brother said that some characters that appear here are from Breaking Bad, and this show is like a sequel to Breaking Bad.
So would I need to watch Breaking Bad first or what?

it's sort of a prequel to breaking bad, or like a spinoff, I don't think you would lose anything from watching better call saul first, but i think you would be more invested in the character if you watched breaking bad first.
