Fads are not meant to last long. But let's be real. The way that game was established out of the gate, there's no way something like that was going to last.
I don't know what they were thinking by NOT making it nearly akin to the Gameboy games.
They had one job....

I still play it when I travel and don't have much to do, but yeah the novelty has worn off. The game definitely isn't dead, it's just that everyone has started to move on. I mean, people were talking about it nonstop for like a month. It was all over tv, radio and internet all the stupid shit people were doing to catch some pokemon. I heard from the radio station I listen to that some dumb bitch went to a graveyard and got stuck up in a tree trying to catch some pokemon, wtf seriously?.

Also, after playing it for a while, this is the type of game that's kind of a pain in the ass to keep playing for a while. "Ugh, I wanna level up, but I'm already at lvl 26 and it's going to take 200000 Exp to get some fucking ultra balls, and I gotta be at work in 2 hours, fuck it i'll just play clash royale". I feel like once they make trading and battling a thing, it'll gain some traction again, but for right now it takes too much dedication. You really have to want to be the very best like no one ever was to keep playing at this point imo

Yeah there's only so much you can do with just capturing the same Pokemon over and over again. Especially if you don't go out much, and all you catch are the same damn Rattatas, Pidgeys, Paras, and Geodudes


They added this "buddy Pokemon" thing where you get candies for whatever Pokemon you have set on your profile, so I'll just be using that for Pokemon that I rarely, if ever, catch. And even then, I don't get on the app often enough for a difference to be made anyway.

First and foremost: I sincerely hope they catch the guy who robbed him.

Second: I sincerely hope the streamer learned to never play Pokemon Go at night after this. If he decides to keep playing and streaming at night after something like that, then he deserves to be robbed as many times as necessary until he learns.

Pokemon Sun and Moon demo is out on the 3DS now. Played it, and finished it in about 20 minutes.

Scenery is nice, and healing up in Pokemon Centers is just one big rave party now I guess. Haven't looked into too much news about the game, but apparently when your Pokemon are taken for healing, it shows each one on a screen behind the nurse, and when they're all on there, the screen flashes all the Pokemon and starts glowing a bunch of colors. I was like, "Oh shit rave party every time I heal "

And of course, the demo is stupidly easy because you have Greninja with you and you fight Pokemon 10-20 levels weaker than it. Still, got a taste of the whole Trials thing this game is doing, and it's pretty nice.
