Soylent Green
Seen it before, but got the blu ray for $7. Still a motherfucking MASTAPEECE. It's a shame that the twist of the movie became a major meme for a couple decades, but that joke isn't tossed around anymore and has become more obscure. If you're not sure what I'm talking about, watch the movie! It's good stuff.
Heavy Metal
People have recommended it to me from time to time. It's a collaboration of shorts made possible by the artist of the magazine of the same name. The story isn't great, but the movie as a whole has really good rotor-scope animation (especially for 1981), tons of violence, blood, action, and TITS. Lots and lots of TITS! So yeah, a fun movie overall.

From the same people behind District 9. This isn't nearly as genius as said movie, but still tugged plenty of heart strings for me. I even stomached Dev Patel, he acted really well throughout the movie. I also like how the robots look like probotectors. The ending also wasn't entirely predictable, especially with how they drew it out. A lot of people didn't seem to like this movie, but fuck them! I recommend it.
