MAMA
Been meaning to watch this for years and since I had this lying around on my hard drive and the Internet crapped out most of the entire day, I decided to finally watch this.
Since I had no one to talk to about this, the only thing I can mostly say is that I actually liked it, although I hate the ending, it felt rushed. Like the writer didn't know how to end the story. I mean, we knew what was going to be the key to ending it, but the actual whole thing when after it came together was just shit to me. And obviously it couldn't end with a "welp, that's it the missing puzzle solved" because it would still be an even shittier ending. So it they had to try harder to do something more around with it.
I can't remember the last time that I've been so engrossed in a horror movie's story, so that's pretty much the reason why I like the film.
The CGI was a kinda bad but I REALLY love the visual style of the asylum escape cliff scene, that was fucking hot even with the bad CGI with it.
I wished more was shown of the early years of the kids in their primal form, that shit was creepy but cool at the same time.
My major complaints that bugged the shit outta me is this:
SPOILER TIME!
The guy in the film. In his coma state, his brother speaks to him to find the cabin in the woods (hurrhurrhurr). Because of this, he's awaken from the coma. The next day, he's smiling and shit talking to his girlfriend and little girls as if nothing happened.
A day or so later, I swear there was a scene where he called his girlfriend and said that he will be home on that day, because she was scared of baby sitting the kids. Does he leave that day? No.
A few days later, on the side of his hospital bed, he sees road maps which were from the search and find rescue team he formed, the said maps that leads to the cabin in the woods where the girls were found. THEN AND ONLY THEN he's like "Oh yeah, let me go to it!". Really? Now!?
There was no rhyme or reason for why those road maps are in the fucking hospital right next to him. NO ONE gave it to him. They were just there. Why the fuck would he need those road maps?! He was in a coma! The fuck would he need the road maps!? The kids are found, it's over, throw it away!
When he leaves the hospital, does he tell his worrying girlfriend that he got out? NO! Mind you, this is a day or two after his last call to his girlfriend. There was no communication between the two, and when there was, it was nothing but missed calls. None of them answering the voice message.
AND Where the fuck did he get the car to travel to the cabin in the woods!?

"Who am I to tell you something that you already know?
Who am I to tell you 'Hold on' when you wanna let go?
Who am I? I'm just a sicko with a song in my head and it keeps playing again and again and again and again."
