Return of The Living Dead: Rave to Grave on CRACKLE. Hey Ghenry, if you're bored, watch this dumb shit, I got to know what you think.
I don't think it was totally bad. I'll watch it again.
Although it had some things that didn't set well with me.
SPOILERS
Right at the beginning of the film two foreign agents appear at a secluded location to make a trade. Money for some bio material that reanimates the dead. Why? Because fuck you.
This is what made me go "what?".
I'm slightly paraphrasing but the dialogue went...
"Does it work?"
The science guy assures him that it works following up a few seconds later during a "I don't believe you" argument
"It's impossible to test it".
Wut? Then how the fuck do you know if it works?
So they test it on a few bodies. Me personally, I don't like how they quickly came back to life, although it is based on the condition of the corpse, but c'mon, add a moment of suspense before they wake up.
Shit happens and the science dude is dead. His nephew recieves word that he died the next day at school. The nephew goes to his house, packs one little box in the attic for whatever and noticed a hidden passage way that contains two more barrels of the bio chemical.
And his first reaction is to bring it to his school for his science friend to find out what it is. I would've just left it the fuck alone or call cops.
Besides that....the barrels have a lock pad on it. Can't open it. But it doesn't stop anyone from hooking a fucking hose to the top of the barrel because convenience nozzle is convenient.
Much later in the film, a random science geek on his first try, presses buttons on the lock pad and it opens. Suck my dick. A zombie comes out, you see the fucking thing for a few minutes walking through the school, scaring a few people and then it disappears off. All that build up wanting to know what's inside, and the creature doesn't do shit. You wanna know what it does? IT FUCKING HITCHIKES on the side of the highway. I shit you not, it has a sign and everything.
Just like most zombie medias, government comes in to contol the problem and blows up the area where the main zombie action is taking place...the protagonists survived because they took cover behind a wall....which should had blown up, but again, fuck you.
*edit* so it turns out this is a sequel to "Return of the living dead: Necropolis" (sp?). And this is why you number your shit. I saw the film that takes place before this and yknow whose going to live and die.
