Batman: Arkham Knight (PS4)
I have a lot to say about this game, but I'll keep it short.

-Story is mostly dogshit. The side missions are fine, but the main story has only a few ups and doesn't justify all of its downs. The twists are shit, the ending is lame as fuck, and Joker (mostly) steals the show again. I swear, if Paul Dini was still in the team, he wouldn't have let this happen.
-Gameplay, however, is phenomenal. Some parts of it are tedious, but god damn is the combat more satisfying than ever. Batmobile tank mode is kind of 'meh' but chasing enemies and vehicles is a real blast when you get the hang of driving. They also give you a shitload to do.

Woah, Dave! (PS4)
From the same people that made the Bit.Trip series, this is a very neat classic arcade-esque game. Takes inspiration from games like the original Mario Bros. Very fun and satisfying, but hard as hell to get far.

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2 (Vita)
The soundtrack is honestly underwhelming, compared to the previous title. I'm kind of disappointed. Oh well, back to the first game!

A City Sleeps
Got it myself now. Trying to get farther, but it's getting a lot tougher! Liking it. The soundtrack is also spectacular, but it's criminal that nobody uploaded it to Youtube! Might as well be me. Gonna work on that in a bit.

Cry of Fear
A free survival horror game made with the Source engine (Half-Life 2, Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead, etc.). As expected, the textures are balls, but I do like some of the atmosphere. The jumpscares I've experienced are lame, but the puzzle-solving and exploring are cool. Reminds me of old survival horrors, which is never a bad thing.

Dreadout
Now THIS is more like your typical PC horror game stuff, but it's still full of puzzles and brick walls when you don't know what to do. The ghost designs are also good, for a small team of Indonesians. It's like a much simpler Fatal Frame, so I'm definitely enjoying it so far.

Awesomenauts (PC)
Back in League 3, still bodying chumps like it's my job. Even without Ayla's healing Rage, I can still take down fools no problem.

Rare Replay

They had a deal, where if your pre-order it from MS they will give you a $10 giftcard back, so really I bought it for $20.

My gripe is that they didn't gives us the updated version of Conker's Bad Fur Day, but hey that multiplayer, I remember that shit when I was playing it at my cousins house.
Also, when you play an arcade title, it acts like the 360 does, start up and everything.
Weapon, had a good point that, they could of put this in 360 as well, possibly double there profits, but you know it's time for next gen.

Killer Instinct

Played as rash, from battletoads, knowing that he is BETA they might update him or not within a few weeks. He does not a have an Ultra, unless you combo first then activate the finisher.

Other than that, I've been doing story and attemping it's goals at the same time.
Turned on the classic announcer, yea!

Gears of War 3

HYLICS

It's a trippy ass RPG, the battle animations are Earthbound-like and weird, but it's something to play until LISA the Joyful comes out later this month.

Metal Slug 1, 2, X, 3, 4, 5, 6, XX (which is 7 re-released)
Working on a new video. It's basically a commentary on all the main entries (and maybe Advance, haven't decided yet). It's basically a tour of the games, describing the stages as well as the enemies. While the stages are kind of vague what locations they're inspired by, the enemies and bosses all have clear inspirations, and I find most of them very interesting. No one's done a video like this, so I figured why not? Here's a quick review: 4 and 5 are shit. I'll go into further details in the video.

Super Cyborg
A Contra clone with really nice-looking sprites. The game's design and aesthetics feels like if they made the Sega Genesis game for NES instead. I definitely recommend it, especially for the 25 cents I paid for it.

Godzilla (PS4)
Awful. Terrible game. The developers don't understand how to make Godzilla fun. They made the game with the perspective of the humans, basically. Playing as the Kaiju, you appear to be very slow and clunky. Yes, from the perspective of something so teeny tiny as a person, that's what it will look like. BUT THAT ISN'T HOW PHYSICS WORK. Godzilla doesn't feel like that in its own perspective. This is what games like Destroy All Monsters Melee and War of the Monsters did, and those games were great. Also, for a game on PS4 that focuses on destroying the environment, it's really ugly. And the missions are all the god damn same. Fuck this game, don't play it.

Rock Band Blitz
Just fucking around. It's good, but it's no Amplitude. Can't wait for Rock Band 4.

Freedom Planet
Playing as the purple one first. The game is good and the boost mechanic is really satisfying, but I really can't help but immediately take notice that the momentum physics are bad. Practically nonexistent, in fact. It's not a deal breaker, but it is annoying. Especially since the reason this game exists is because they wanted to make a Sonic fan-game.

A shitload of Achievements, just by doing the tutorial. But I really got it to play Conker's Big Reunion, which was free this weekend.

Weapon, if you get this game. They are not kidding, you can make your own fucking game, it's super detailed on how you program stuff.

You have 3 lives, you can only take 5 hits each life.

Each wave gives a new enemy to fight, and vary in how many hits it takes to kill them.
Take too long, and the grim reaper will kill ya.

Sucks because you're the only person I know who has it. I wanted to know if they purposely butchered the gameplay mechanics to feel like Gears of War 1 or does it feel like Gears of War 3/Judgment....but again, you never played the series like talking about.

It's not like Gears 3 or Judgement. They did their best to make it like Gears 1, and I think the only real changes they made were for the better. I didn't really research it too much while playing, though.

A few friends of mine, who are part of the East Coast competitive scene for Gears, are loving it. I didn't really ask for details, though.

Some gayme called Destiny: Total garbage. There's a raid which is supposed to need 6 guardians to complete yet i was able to solo it. The PVE aspect of this game is terrible, the bosses are about as fun as swatting flies.. wait thats an insult to flies. Bosses are giant bullet sponges. The PVP part of it is just as bad. There are 3 guns that trump everything else. If you want to be competitive well prepared to be disappointed as with a few cheap tricks you'll get wiped out of existence.

How to Survive (Got from gameswgold last month i believe): Haven't explored too much of it. You're a survivor in an island inhabited by zombies. Kind of like state of decay, but a lot less detailed.

Dead Island Riptdie: This game was great! probably because most of it i spent it playing with WeaponTheory (awesome lad btw) There's this badass kick you can do if you're John. Like a big boot from hell that just destroys anything it touches. It was the funnest thing about the game, just running around booting zombies off cliffs, houses, boardwalks, anything they can stand on.

Metro Last Light (last month's game with gold): This game is pretty alright. Again i've been playing this with WeaponTheory. He has taken a very stealthy approach to it. Sneaking around, not killing anyone, being a ninja. I on the other hand have killed anything in my path. Rats, rats on steroids, humans, weird ass possum mutants, overgrown tentacle shrimps. It's an alright game if you got it for free. Bonus it has pixel titties.
