Got the chance to play it over the weekend.
Honestly didn't expect this game to be a Rock Paper Scissors button masher.
It doesn't help that Combo Assist became a late feature to the game. I wouldn't mind that so much for casual offline play, but the fact that you can turn it on for Online play is sad as shit.
My friend and I have the same opinion on the game, he wants to play as (buy) more characters (Kan-Ra, Hisako, Aganos), but it wouldn't matter because of the game's mechanics, everyone kinda feels the same unless their button input is different (Sabrewulf) or the character is slow as molasses (Chief Thunder/Glacius). Which leads me to another thing I dislike about the game, the good ol Street Fighter slow/fast character bullshit, ugh...
I'm glad a part of the game was free this month. Unfortunately this was not the game I hoped for, guess it's my fault for sucking the soundtracks dick for months on end, just enough for God to say "lolnope."
