In lieu of the Steam Summer Sale (and trying to get Trading card drops out of the way), I played a good bunch the past couple weeks;
Steam Monster Game
Got past level 1 Million with my team. Get on my level, chumps.
Gun Monkeys
The gameplay seemed very 'ehh' from the tutorial, but it's multiplayer only with a completely dead community. Oh well, don't even remember when I got this.
R.I.P.D. The Game
A shitty third-person Killing Floor rip-off.
The Slaughtering Grounds
Now this I did get during the sale. The name alone is literally "The Killing Floor" so what do you think it is? It has a single track for the entire game (Main screen, options, in-game, everything) that sounds like racist Chinese (or maybe I'm racist for thinking that), the HUD takes up more than a quarter of the screen, some of the guns take up ANOTHER quarter of the screen, the collision detection is horrendous, the gameplay is so slow and boring, and the zombie and stage designs are almost a spectacle due to how bad they are.
Ultimately, it is the best 19 cents I ever spent.
Bad Hotel
Got stuck in the 2nd world. It's not awful, but I feel like I'm not grasping some of the mechanics.
Killing Floor 2
Didn't buy it, just using Disk's copy. It's fucking awesome.
Dungeon Hearts
Have you ever played Bejeweled and wish when you matched shapes, that new ones would appear at a snail's pace? Then this game is for you.
Vanguard Princess
Oh baybehhhh
Metal Slug Defense
Oh, this was actually free. But I managed to get every single achievement.
Even if the Metal Slug game is shit, I finish what I started.
Vector
Not a bad freerunning game, considering how cheap it is. Animation is really fluid, too. It gets REALLY frustrating for the sake of providing a challenge, though.
Olliolli
Actually been playing this on my 3DS. It's a really cool arcade-style skateboarding game. I like the soundtrack a lot too.
Ichi
Once they gave the ability to let you draw a line of blockage anywhere the ball trails, I stopped playing. Idunno, I feel it's an unnecessary mechanic for the kind of game it is.
Canyon Capers
Horrible spelunker game. Don't play it.
Metal Slug X (PC)
It's good and all, but it suffers the same issue as Metal Slug 3. Random frame skips and slowdowns, usually in scene transitions. Even the music fucks up a tad.
Heavy Bullets
I'm so mad at myself that I held off for so long, it's seriously a REALLY cool game. I'm really impressed by how it looks and the game's mechanics. A strange rogue-like FPS with retrievable ammo. The cel-shaded graphics really speak to me too. It adds to the feeling of isolation and claustrophobia, which I believe was what they were trying to infer. With that said, it really reminds me of Killer 7. I highly recommend it.
Shadow Warrior (2013 PC)
Already beat it on PS4. I've had it for a while. Just want the trading cards. This version is pretty much identical. Pretty fun too.
Dust: An Elysian Tale
Just want the trading cards. This game is so fucking ugly, I can't stand it. Seriously, anyone that thinks this game is even slightly good, play Muramasa instead and get back to me.
