Besides MKX?
Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F
So my one friend who is huge on all this animu stuff told me that he knew I'd enjoy this game a lot since it's a rhythm game. Of course, initially, I couldn't really get into the style. Nothing against it, just never really my thing.
It's a great blend between great fun and what the fuck is going on?
It took some time for me to really warm up to the style, it's pretty cute and fun to watch. But that isn't what's keeping me on this game, it's just how much fun it is. One of the best rhythm games I've played in a while. Even the music is hard to forget for me now, which I expect from SEGA. I hate the shit out of them 95% of the time, but I won't deny how good they are in the music department just about all of the time.
I also bugged out when I realized that isn't some singer using autotune for the songs. Hatsune Miku is a voice augmentation program. Kind of freaky, what else should I expect from Japan? This game is hard to find, but if you like rhythm games, I suggest checking it out.
Silent Hill 2 HD
I was attempting to get the hardest trophy, which is clearing the game with a perfect rank. Normally, it would be no problem for me, but this piece of shit version crashed on me 3 times. Keep in mind, I'm limited to two saves in total for a perfect rank, and these crashes can NOT be pinpointed. I'm done trying to deal with this bullshit, at least for a while.
The Order:1886
It's kind of pathetic how big of a budget this game clearly had and they did not bring a single thing new to the table of third-person shooters. No lie, this shit plays WORSE than Gears of War 1 (which is one of the best TPS games ever, but I'm arguing the fact that it's like 8 years old or so). And their use of futuristic mechanics and tesla and all that nonsense delivers us like . . . 3 guns. What a load of shit. I also love their excuse is that the cutscenes are unskippable because there's QTEs in them. First of all, that's only the case for like 1/4th of them. Second, Asura's Wrath did the same thing which is why they let you skip throughout the cutscenes so you can go straight to the QTEs and move on. What a bunch of fucking hacks.
It also dawned on me how frighteningly similar this game is to Ryse: Son of Rome. This should have been a launch title, the shitpost wars would've been quite fun. But everyone's forgotten about Ryse at this point.
I really haven't had much time to play anything lately D:
