Had a big meeting at work today where I had to connect our server team with a customer to resolve an issue the customer caused. I ended up leading it more that I expected to. I quickly figured out what the customer messed up. The customer then kept saying they weren't the ones causing the issue. So I asked them to do a test run and sure enough it fails because of how they were doing it, smack! The customer's manager guy was on the call and even he sighed when he realized the issue was all on them.
In general work, I invited a co-worker (semi-manager, hard to explain) to lunch to this new place that opened up. He said yes yesterday but today he suddenly said he wants to save money and is going to eat in instead. Well, he just e-mailed me after work to ask if we could go to this other restaurant tomorrow. Wtf.... lol. Saving money my ass.
I am mostly moved in now at my new place. For me the place is great, the only thing I don't like though is the plumbing setup. It's connected with the neighbors so if I need to shut off the water I end up shutting it off for the neighbors too. Hopefully no leaks or anything happen cause then we're all screwed until it gets fixed.
My Xbox One S stopped working this week. The damn thing says I have an Ethernet connected to it but I don't. It won't let me connect to wireless until I disconnect the phantom Ethernet. I contacted Support and they weren't any help really. They just had me restart the system and also attempt a factory reset. The factory reset made things worse because you need to be online to setup the Xbox, and since the I can't connect to the internet because of the fake Ethernet connection issue, I can't get passed the setup. Support then just said that it sounds like the adapter is broken and to send it in for repairs or return it if possible. Luckily Amazon let me return it and already shipped me a new Xbox One S. I need to send the defective one back within 30 days. Anyways, can't believe that shit broke in less than a month. That's terrible...
