I've been down a road similar to this. Less arguing, more about us just not being into the same things. We were also taking different paths and she wasn't crazy about what I was setting my sights for.
It was nice for a while, but down the line? Seeing her was less of actually enjoying my time with her, and started to feel like a chore. And she was incredibly affectionate towards me and, from an outside perspective, that should feel great. I just wasn't feeling it nearly as much as she was. I don't think it helps that I was her 'first' as well.
That was when I forced myself to break it off.
Now, I'm not saying you need to be with someone just like you, but if this incompatibility doesn't feel like she adds to something you're missing, I don't think it's really worth it.
