Errr....I got everything I personally wanted.
I had every raid weapon, but a few I didn't care for and did nothing but wasted space. Praedyth's Timepiece and Oversoul Edict comes to mind.

Me and my crew attempted Flawless Raider.
Hipster kept dying at the Abyss drop and we learned how to do the Bridge legit since it was our only "difficulty" from that Raid.
Very nerve racking from both ends. You're hoping that everyone stays the fuck alive especially when the Sword Bearer comes, meanwhile, when you're being picked on by enemies, you're freaking the fuck out trying to stay alive. I'm glad I was my Hunter. vanishes
We thought we try to get this before the next DLC comes out, since Bungivision will most likely up the Raid difficulties again. And once that happens, there's no chance of getting it. Since most of us either don't play often or don't care for it.

Wait, they up the raid difficulties? VoG wasn't more difficult when Dark Below came out. I doubt CE will be more difficult when HoW comes out.
Anyway, best way to flawless the abyss is to let one person do it while everyone else kicks back and relaxes. As for bridge, I would LOVE to do it legit, because it's the best part of the raid, imo. But everyone would rather cheese it because "it's too hard". It's end game content. It's supposed to be hard. Everything after bridge isn't as fun but very easy to one shot. Had a hard mode run where we only wiped once from Deathsinger and beat Crota in one go. Best run ever.

Same for me...except I got both a Plan C and The Last Word. Got my third G. Horn off the Nightfall.
Also spammed Xur for for helm engrams and got The Ram and Celestial Nighthawk.

Armor. Better to be at your highest light level than have weapons at max attack because light level affects attack values. Do the level 32 Prison if Elders to get the armor core and buy the gloves Variks is selling. Ascend your most used exotic armor and use that etheric light to ascend your boots. That way, you can keep your heavy ammo at it's maximum (provided your boots have the increased heavy ammo perk on them [for example, the raid boots]).
I'm also liking Prison of Elders. Probably going to run the 34 variant later today. Boost myself to level 34 when I'm done (my Warlock is at level 33 right now), and then do the level 35 variant. I keep hearing Skolas can be...not necessarily cheesed, but rather with the faithful combo of Weapons of Light and G. Horn, quickly taken care of.

Explain how to get the Armor from this DLC that will make one lvl34?
I think you trade an Armor Core for Gauntlets that will get you 33?
But what about the other DLC Armor? Where they at? and how?

VENDORS. I'm pretty sure you can only get to 33 with vendor gear, but by that point, you'd need etheric light to ascend them. Or, if you have access to Trials or Prison, the gear you get from either doesn't need ascending and you can get to 34 easily that way.
As it is, I finished level 32 Prison, got an armor core, and used it to buy the gloves. Now I'll do level 34 Prison and get a guaranteed etheric light to ascend my boots (from either raid as they both have the heavy ammo perk) and then I'm done. I'll be at level 34...on one of my characters...
