What sucks is that he could have prevented the situation for being forced to pay child support if he hadn't panicked and ignored the time frame for getting a paternity test, and that he wants to be part of the childs life but the pedophile mom didn't tell him about the kid until 6 years after she was born. Don't ever ignore legal notices and/or summons, or else the court will rule against you by default. If this guy had responded appropriately, the end result would likely have been different.
