RE: OnCamera App - Shervik - 03-02-2016

Stop, I gotta show you this video before you rape me!

RE: OnCamera App - manofonetitle - 03-03-2016

First of all, iphone pics of someone in a dim parking garage counts as ID confirmed by law enforcement? Ok....

Second, in order for this to actually work, the victim would kind of already have to know that an assault is coming, and I seriously doubt that most victims would be quick enough on the draw to just bust their phone out with app and camera on the ready without the attacker even noticing like that video demonstrated (like what Shervik said. "Slow down, I need a good pic of you and you're out of focus! Fuck, I should have just ran.")

Last, I find it weird how they mention the statistic of one in four women have been sexually assaulted in their life, 76% of those assaults occur in a familiar setting by someone they know, but the scene that they show looks like a stranger approaching a girl in an unfamiliar place. It's like, even with this app, you're still most likely screwed.

Fucking-these!

This shit will never work.

I love their statistic how a 911 call is flawed when this app is the same thing except with "visual".

"Stop, we have you I.D."

Bullshit.
Even if the attacker stands like a retard by initial surprise only to eventually resume moving again (ohshit gun? lololnope itsrapetime.mp4), their so-called I.D is going to be as "perfect" as a security camera catching a robber at a gas station, dare I say less perfect when a frantic woman is holding a phone.

If the attacker waited this long and psyched themselves into doing some wrongful activity, they're not going to have a sudden change of heart.
And if some dude wants to rape a woman, the last thing that's going to prevent them is their own brain.
You ever had a hard-on and try telling yourself not to jack off? How many times where you successful at not touching your dick when that moment happens? Exactly, that boner has to go away. Congrats, you've been raping yourself each time!

If by some unfortunate event in my life happens where I get so low that I wanna ruin some poor woman's life. I would be dying laughing if that fucking tone of voice comes out of their phone. Did you hear that shit? Can you not sound like you're reading from a script? They will have an I.D. of me in a fetal position possibly from a stomach cramp from me laughing too hard. Take it from the top, officer, I want you to sound like there's a possibility of me getting butt-fucked for ten plus years.

Now the scenario, by some ungodly force, this app becomes legit, and it works, it saved some lives in the first few months after release. Eventually, news gets around, and future attackers are going to become aware of this device. You know what's going to happen? They're going to get smart and find a way to avoid getting I.D'd. Soon as the woman turns around to whip out that phone.

#smashbroswavedash
blurryphotos.exe
StruggleToDisarmBitchWithPhone.mp4

That phone is going to be on the ground, while officer scripts-a-lot-recites his lines before he can hear a single cry in the background. She is as good as fucking fucked by the time a squad arrives.

My God, you should see the Facebook comments from these women.
They're actually downloading this shit.
Surprise! The App is not ready yet!

Do you know how hard it's going to be to make that App functional?
We're talking about every State, every City, to agree and cooperate with whatever company that's trying to put fear into these women.
Hiring to create a unit, that will sit on their asses, and wait for a rape victim to call, hitting that PrntScrn button on their keyboard, hoping to God that it's a good picture to work with because you're going to need one to put on Fox News @ 10 after her body has been found in a dumpster, and get a squad on standby on a possible rape activity in progress. Pffffttttt....

The concept is nice, but...I prefer something that will up the chances to a good 95% that a lone woman will walk away untouched.

A gun is a nice app.

A gun is a nice app.

Seriously, it's weird how the video shows that with a 911 phone call, the cops don't show up until 10-20 minutes, how does the app make their response and arrival more swift?

It's like you said, a gun is a much better app, but there are a lot of areas in america where getting one of those isn't all that easy, especially in urban areas (limited number of shops to buy one, limited areas to practice shooting it, etc.). But even if a gun is a more difficult option, theres always mace and tazers. It may not incapacitate the attacker like a gun would, but it will at least stun them and give the victim a better chance of escaping.
