Here's another major hack from the same creator as Super Mario 64: Ocarina of Time, Kaze Emanuar.
Technically, this hack was originally released back in 2016. However, the original version had its share of game crippling bugs (which is understandable with a hack of this magnitude) and was unnecessarily difficult in some areas...even early in the game. This is why I held off in making a thread about it.
Fortunately, with the release of SM64: OoT this past March, Kaze has been able to go back to Super Mario 64: Last Impact and apply the techniques he learned while making SM64: OoT.
SM64: LI has now been updated to version 1.2, meaning every previously reported glitch has been fixed, the difficulty has been toned down to better accommodate casual players, and the game now runs super smooth.
The download link can be found below. No patching necessary!

No, the thread subject is not a typo. Perhaps the most ambitious, impressive ROM hack of all time is a reality.
As evidenced by the above video, a massive amount of work has been put into this game. It is NOT just Mario plopped in place of Zelda and the creator calls it a day. Every single aspect of Ocarina Of Time has been rebuilt and reworked to play as if it were in the Mario 64 engine.
The creator of this hack is a genius named Kaze Emanuar. His YouTube channel is here. This guy has made a ton of Mario 64 related hacks, and can also be found on his channel.
In addition to Ocarina Of Time being redone, Kaze commissioned someone to remix every piece of music from Ocarina Of Time's soundtrack using Mario 64's instrument sounds from its soundtrack. The new tracks sound amazing.
If you're interested, the game can be downloaded below. No patching necessary!
