Anyone still have old school video game cartridges or discs?  Like before 2006, anything PS2 and earlier?

I have a pretty huge collection at the moment, some of them are worth a lot on ebay, especially the snes ones...I haven't played very many of them until I got a hyperkin retron 5 and I've been reliving the past for the last few weeks.

If so, do you still play them?

Late last year I whipped out the Playstation 2, for many reasons which basically led me to being bored and/or disgusted of today's gaming, thus forever changing my gaming habit. Now I would play my favorite old games that are quick and simple. "Arcade feel", if you will.

I whipped out something from back in the days where $60 games felt like $60 games and Single Player mode had worth while content.

Beaten "Tony Hawk's American Wasteland" on the hardest difficulty it has to offer. Sick Difficulty.
And then beaten "Tony Hawk's Underground", also on Sick difficulty.
Then I played a little of "Tony Hawk's Pro Skaters 4", thinking I would not hate it like I did many years ago, nope, still hate that game.
I would've played "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3" but I cannot find it.

Those games take me back to Jr High School....dang. Funny you say that too, couple weeks ago my and my roommates busted out the n64 and played the first tony hawk game along with starfox 64 and the first smash bros

SNES, Genesis, PS1, PS2 and PS3

For reasons I cannot quite explain, I still find myself playing Sonic Shuffle on my Sega Dreamcast.

I'm assuming that Playstation game doesn't work? Because....coaster.

No, it works fine. I'll just probably never play it ever again.

This is now a video game collection/swag thingies. Post 'em.
So, I got this last weekend but been very busy and contemplated to open it until today.












I never had those figurines with the crap load of articulation joints before. I never liked the idea of it. And I think my skepticism(?) was probably right, because I just don't dig it. But part of me blames it on the fact that this Kitana figure is small and a slim body mass to grip onto. Simply put, you can't play with her, or at least I can't. Which realllly sucks because I was hoping I can come up with Mortal Kombat animation ideas using her instead of my old WWF toys . She's literally just for posing as intended, heh, and this was the feeling I had about these types of toys for years. But hopefully my feelings will change if I ever to snag a bulkier character.

I'm disappointed that the company Mezco didn't bother making the entire Mortal Kombat X roster. It's a sin to not have a Mileena figure. And a bigger sin that they didn't create the NEW characters except for Kotal Kahn. I can just imagine Ferra/Torr being overpriced as shit in the future. And D'Vorah would had looked AMAZING!

That is sick, dude! I'm a huge fan of Mortal Kombat X. Where did you find that at?
